8 Things I Love Sunday

Victrola Coffee Roaster | Sunburn in Seattle

Inspired by the weekly series on A Beautiful Mess, I want to take some time to reflect on the previous week - what was fun, what brought me joy, and probably cute animal pictures - in order to start the following week on a positive note and beat the Sunday Scaries.

Happy Sunday! Even though I only spent 3 days in the office this week, it felt like years! It's been so nice to have a essentially a 4 day weekend. (I worked from home part of the day on Friday.) We managed to pack a lot into those 4 free days while still leaving some time to relax. Here's what I loved about this week:

  1. Going to Bellingham for Thanksgiving dinner with Adam's brother and sister-in-law. We had a slightly un-traditional feast with curried butternut squash soup, tuna steaks, and swordfish.

  2. Sleeping in until at least 9AM every day.

  3. Walking around Downtown Seattle and Pike Place Market - everywhere is so festive! There were even baby reindeer at the market!

  4. These slippers from Target that are currently giving me life. I've barely taken them off since I brought them home on Saturday.

  5. Replacing our kitchen and bathroom hand soaps with Mrs. Meyer's holiday scents - orange clove and peppermint!

  6. Spending the evening before Thanks giving catching up with friends.

  7. Our friend that currently lives in Hawaii visiting!

  8. Spending some time taking in the views from Smith Tower Observatory for Adam's birthday.

Next week, Adam and I are headed to San Diego! I'm looking forward to the warmer weather, new breweries, and getting out of the PNW for a bit :)

Have a great week!

XO
