Inspired by the weekly series on A Beautiful Mess, I want to take some time to reflect on the previous week - what was fun, what brought me joy, and probably cute animal pictures - in order to start the following week on a positive note and beat the Sunday Scaries.
Happy Sunday! Even though I only spent 3 days in the office this week, it felt like years! It's been so nice to have a essentially a 4 day weekend. (I worked from home part of the day on Friday.) We managed to pack a lot into those 4 free days while still leaving some time to relax. Here's what I loved about this week:
Going to Bellingham for Thanksgiving dinner with Adam's brother and sister-in-law. We had a slightly un-traditional feast with curried butternut squash soup, tuna steaks, and swordfish.
Sleeping in until at least 9AM every day.
Walking around Downtown Seattle and Pike Place Market - everywhere is so festive! There were even baby reindeer at the market!
These slippers from Target that are currently giving me life. I've barely taken them off since I brought them home on Saturday.
Replacing our kitchen and bathroom hand soaps with Mrs. Meyer's holiday scents - orange clove and peppermint!
Spending the evening before Thanks giving catching up with friends.
Our friend that currently lives in Hawaii visiting!
Next week, Adam and I are headed to San Diego! I'm looking forward to the warmer weather, new breweries, and getting out of the PNW for a bit :)
Have a great week!
